This is a simple answer. First off, protein shakes are for serious results for serious workouts. Three times a week honestly isnt enough to justify the use of a protein supplement unless these are three times a week for 3+ hours a session. If you want to make some serious gain, weight lift mon-wed-fri, and do cardio tuesday and thursday. Take the weekend off to rebuild your muscles. May i make a recommendation, work out a different part of your body on the weight lift days. Upper body monday, lower body and legs wednesday, and tone the entire body friday. Spreading your workouts like that make for the best results so your not overstraining the same group of muscles over and over. Couple that routine, with a healthy diet that a trainer can make with you, and you'll start truely seeing results in a little as three months. Stick with it all the way through.

I am locked out of 2 groups for 5 days even after updating profile-PENDING-WHY? Is 5 days normal? What next?

Originally, I was ignorant, thinking my profile was updated in the the box where you tell the groups something about yourself. Not long after the original contact, I did the required update, putting my profile in order. Then, I emailed both groups that the necessary changes in the profile had been done. I was concerned that my email might be stuck there in some file that is rarely seen (just a guess and a precuation) I was told on Yahoo answers that when I made the changes, that status would change. I am not that impatient. If the normal time is a month, then so be it and I will wait for that time; but right now, I have no idea why there has been no response from either group. You see, I cannot go back in and reapply by hitting the JOIN on and starting over. My concern is that it is sidetracked somehow or may be caught in some kind of glitch in perpetuity. Somebody tell me if I am trapped in the Twilight Zone. Is this overdue? If so, then what is my next step? Trying to email the moderator central group or what? There is a shadow of doubt taking root that they do not want me and hope I will go away, possibly due to my age. But I am not ready to use the D word yet; it's never crossed my mind until now. Why do i constantly dream about car accidents?

Its been a few years now, possibly just a bit after i started driving, since ive been having numerous, hundreds of dreams about car accidents. As time goes on, they seem to get more and more frequent. At this point i have at least one dream almost every night about wrecking my car, or getting pulled over for reckless driving because i lost control of my vehicle for multiple ludicrous reasons such as not being able to break, or running over a pebble which propels my car into an insane spin over multiple lanes of traffic. These dreams always seem incredibly real, sometimes i even feel pain and always wake up frightened or disturbed. I've always had lots of very vivid and phantasmagorical dreams ever since i was a child, and maybe it would help if i said that i tend to be a very paranoid person, always worried something unrealistic may go wrong. But this car accident thing is really taking its toll on me. I really want to go back to dreaming about things other than wrecking my car or getting pulled over for something out of my control. Laptop screen black/wont boot up.....HELP?

I have a Dell inspiron 1721 running windows 7. when i turn it on i can hear the hard drive start up and the fan start but there's nothing on the screen! If i take out the battery and plug it out of it's charger and hold the power on for a minute then plug it back in the num lock and caps lock leds start blinking. Also i got the battery i have about 3 months ago as a replacement and i got a replacement charger about a year ago. I've had this laptop for around 3 years. Personally owning racehorses myself, I am against steroid use! If a horse can't keep weight and condition by himself, he doesn't need to be on the racetrack. I did have one horse that used lasix, but as far as other drugs, No and H**l no! It could mask other problems that the horse might have. I truly admire the owners of Curlin for taking him off the steroids. I am like the other poster, he is a BETTER racehorse without them. He didn't do a thing for me in his early 3 year old season, but he's a truly genuine horse now that can actually race after age 3. Keep in mind that Sammy won't be able to move around much until his leg heals. You'll have to either hand feed him or put his food real close. Also, most importantly, keep him hydrated. He might not be able to reach a water bottle. Keep his sleepin clean, since he wont be able to get up and move to "do his business". Avoid fruits and fresh veggies at this early age - they cause diarrhea in very young rodents, which leads to dehydration. I'm not sure how big his teeth are and how well he chews - he might have trouble with larger chunks of kibble or rat chow. Maybe some high-fiber cereal (the less sugar the better). If he doesn't seem to be able to chew well, maybe oatmeal. Just a few suggestions... good luck!

i feed mine frog and tadpole bites on alternate days and frozen bloodworms on the other alternate days ... and no food on sundays ... never feed anything freeze-dried ... the frog and tadpole bites are good because they have nutrition for the frogs and are soft enough for them to gobble and it not cause a blockage (which is a problem with freeze-dried foods and frogs) ... i guess you could feed with forceps but i know if i put my giant tweezers in front of my frogs they would take off ... if you have sand as the substrate the food stays on top and makes it easier to feed ... i personally would not have the patience to feed two frogs by hand but then again i have nine tanks of various critters :O)

I've never actually cosplayed, but my brother's girlfriend does it quite a bit. She does a sketch first of the clothing she is going to wear. So sketching clothing would probably be the first step in order to know what dimensions you need for cloth. Know what colors you need, etc etc. Then when that happens, buy the cloth, sow, stitch, do whatever you have to do to get the sketch completed, and then do your hair, etc etc. I'm not too sure how much it costs, but I know it's not that cheap.

Your plot sounds really weird, but possibly also wonderful! You obviously have an active imagination! It does sound just a bit Harry Potterish, the school part, but the rest seems fairly original to me. I think that what you should do is to begin the actual writing. Take your time; don't rush through it or be in a great hurry to tell the story. Be sure to use lots of dialogue and descriptions which are natural to the story-line. You seem to have expended much thought planning the plot. When you put your concepts into words, I think that you'll find the answer to the way that your story should end. I've written two novels of Atlantis which, as I wrote, seemed be revealed to me -- almost as if I were "channeling" them. You really wouldn't want someone else to decide your ending for you; you'll know what it will be as you reach it! Anyway, the experience of completing a potential novel will be great for you; see what you can do! And, good luck!

If your cat is trying to bring up a hairball a little liquid paraffin will help. (It isn't the stuff you burn) It is available at pet shops. DO NOT give loads or over more than 3 days as it stops the cat from absorbing certain vitamins and therefore can cause long term damage if constantly used. It has helped my cats in the past. It softens and lubricates the ball making it easier to bring up or p through. If he is bringing up all his food and is losing weight get him to a vet as he may have swallowed something that has caused a blockage. My youngest had to have a piece of intestine removed when he was about 9 months old as he chewed off the finger end of a washing up glove and it got stuck preventing food from ping through. He is 12 now and very healthy, thanks to an excellent vet. I hope this helps.

I think that that is vary wrong!!! I respect what people believe in but i would never try to force what i believe in on someone else. If i was in your situation i would just put all those papers in the garbage. Its one thing to ask someone what they believe in but it is really wrong to try and get them to believe what you want. Okay well in the experiment, 1.5821g of Oxalic Acid dihydrate was used, it was made up to 250mL of oxalic acid solution. That information was placed into a table and beneath the table a question asks for the Mol of H2C204.2H2O(oxalic acid) I have 0.0125 mol as the answer. [1.5821g�126gmol] ..... its set in italy or spain i think. there is a mother who runs a hotel and who doesnt really get on with her daughter who is called carmen. the mother used to be a model but the daughter doesnt konw until later in the book, in the town where they live there is a chapel and a sacred painting. they dont get many tourist but they move road signs around so tourist accidently end up in there town. carmen goes to clean the house of a man who has recently arrived back at the town he was friends with (and was in love) with her mother when they were younger. He owns lots of farmland that has fallen into disrepair. vineyards too i think. the painting in the church is stolen. and there is also something about the death of the mother's husband who was friends the the man who has just arrived in town. carmen also falls in love with a boy that come to elp out on the farm and her mother and the man (cant remember his name!) try to get them together. this is a simplistic plot line, because it was awhile ago and i cant remember more but its an incredible book!!!!!!

I'm 47 and so remember even more "innocent" times. I have seen Society change greatly. It is because since the 70's more children are exposed to "adult" themed media. There used to be a "family time" and a "prime time" on television. Too many people having babies didn't want to restrict their adult interests around children, so the solution has been to expose children much too early to adult things. This has resulted in those children growing up with no restraint on their behavior. Society as a whole has regressed instead of progressed. There is very little accountability and responsibility taught today. True progression is being able to control your baser instincts and rise above them, rather than give in to them. How can something be progressive when self-respect and respect for others has become unfashionable? Did the women fighting for the vote and equality foresee the day when their descendants would say "It's the 21st century. We're all sluts and that's cool"? I have actually heard this from a young woman in response to this woman's younger sister saying she liked dressing conservatively rather than provocative.

House purchase heartaches..please help!?

Hi there! My husband and I recently purchased a house and lot that is part of a compound of 4 houses(including ours). This compound used to belong to a single owner who initially rented out these 4 houses. We were one of the renters until last year when the owner decided to sell all 4 houses. WE loved the house and its location plus the compound has a common area (which is the driveway) wherein our kids can play with the neighbors' kids in a safe and secure environment. We bought the house we were renting . The other renters opted not to, so they left because the ones they rented eventually got sold. All houses were sold to different buyers except one(this one last house still belongs to the compound owner). Because this is a compound, when we arrived in this place the water supply setup was this: there is one water line from Maynilad that goes into the compound. This means the compound occupants pay its water bill ulatively based on the individual water meter reading that was placed in each household's home. There's one water pump that pumps the water into 2 overhead water tanks. One tank is for the use of the 2 houses on the left side of the compound, the other one goes into the other 2 houses on the right side of the compound. We are on the right side of the compound and the house which we shared the tank with was bought by a relative of the owner(which we will refer to as RELATIVES from hereon). Just a couple of months ago, there was already a feeler from the RELATIVES that the owner has given them the ownership of the tank including the pump and the water line from Maynilad. We were advised that we have to set up our own water supply because they would soon cut off the line from the tank to our house. It would cost a minimum of 80k to do this. This really devastated me. My question now is, is this legal? Don't we have equal right to the tank, water pump and line like the rest of the buyers of the compound?. Isn't it the original owner's responsibility to provide these basic necessities when we bought the house? By the way, the water tanks are erected on the common area which is the end of the driveway. We bought this house with an existing water supply and now it's being taken away from us! Should we stand our ground? As of the moment we don't have the means to install our own water supply. Please help!! I just want to know our rights to this if ever we have one. Thank you so much!! GOd bless...

There is some truth to the movies. They are overplayed and the stereotypes aren't that bad. So I guess the answer would be yes but much more mild. It does sound very interesting, I would read it. But the teaser could be improved it really didn't make me want to read it, until i read what the plot really was, but i think you need more reason behind it. Like that the creatures feel they have been unjustly treated or the humans invaded their territory to make them want to hurt the people. Also on a side note the grammar was off in places and it made it difficult to understand what you were describing. And i didn't quite understand how finding the man she loves plays into the whole thing, you may want to give him more character and information in the beginning so people can see why it is so important for her to find him, but other than that it sounds very interesting. 1998 Plymouth Voyager dashboard problem?

So, I am driving down the road and all the gauges on my dashboard bottom out. The ABS light comes on and then the dashboard bounces back, the ABS light goes out, the seat belt light comes on and stays on about 4-5 seconds and then goes out. I have had the car in for recalls and that has been taken care of. The dealer says there is no recall on this. I have been running the length of the wiring harness to see if it is touching something and can find nothing. It does not interfere with the running of the car or the lights or anything, just the gauges drop to nothing and then bound back up. Making me screwy!! There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it...not rainy, not dry, not bumps...I give up.

You have to think about in terms of the Titanic. It only took that last gallon of seawater to sink the ship. So the question is, how close are we to a tipping point? Water vapor is the result evaporation, and evaporation has to do with the degree of heat energy of the overlying air m. Heat physics state that the warmer the air m the more water will evaporate into that air m. Even a fraction of a degree 'warmer' over the surface of an ocean is a lot of water vapor. While it may be counter intuitive the amount of evaporated water actually is way out of proportion to the heat energy that causes that evaporation. Likewise there a maximum amount of CO2 and methane that when reached actually does reduce the outgoing infrared radiation to the point where more heat is retained then is allowed to escape into outer space. That point was reached in 1990 when CO2 concentration reached 350ppm. Currently its at 386ppm and 400ppm is where the last gallon of water rushes in and sinks the ship...not immediately, but over a relatively short period of time considerable climate change WILL happen. As we add 12 to 15ppm of CO2 every decade, that's something to think about. Volcanoes are a factor of course, but that amount has already been factored into the equation....industrial CO2 is by far the more culpable. The sun's energy, either at solar max or solar minimum still has to be re-radiated, and the greenhouse effect is the key to that re-radiation...if it's not, things heat up! Methane and CO2ppm are 'small' as you stated, but their role is large...just like that last gallon of water sloshing into the Titanic's hull. Bummer for us!

Milk came out 5 month old's baby

30 mins ago I was putting my baby down, 5 mins later she burped on herself , she was on her pacifier at and the milk couldn't come out from her mouth and it went up to her nose. I'm worried if it goes to her lungs. I called the doctor and she said you would know in about 2 days if the milk go down to her lungs and the doctor wouln't do anything if the milk really goes to her lungs. QBasic Only Opens in a Small Window?

I learned Qbasic in school, but the semester is ending and I want to continue. I copied the .exe, help file (.hlp), and configuration settings (.ini) onto a thumb drive. Everything works fine, but the window is really small. I tried to change the properties of the application under the "screen" and "program" tabs, but it gave an error message. Does it have to do with where the file is stored? How can I make it open in a full screen?

Protein and Kidney Stones?

So I have started to work out recently at my local gym and decided to "bulk up." I bought some GNC protein powder and will ingest more protein than the average person. I have heard that a high protein diet will cause kidney stones due to a larger calcium build up from the protein. However, I am still maintaining my normal diet, just taking more protein as well. I am also working out. So my question is, is that will this still cause kidney stones, or I will be fine ingesting more protein while working out?
