This pain is getting me down :(?

i have a reaaly painful annoying pain in my chest area. in between the bone and its usually more painfull after i have eaten. this can be anything that goes in my mouth and will stay with me several hours later. i have tried gaviscon and rennie but dosent seem to help at all..... please help
