I've heard that dreams are symbolic so i was hoping somebody you knows a bit more about dreams could help me?

Basically i heard if you know enough about dreams they mean something deeper and since i know nothing about them i was hoping to get advice. So my dream starts off that I'm in a Mormon Temple about to do Baptisms for the Dead and I'm eating peas. I try to go out there and sit to wait my turn to Baptize but i can't not food allowed out there. Then i skip to this part were me and 3 girls I believe and wearing formal outfits and go singing to peoples houses or something like what you do at christmas time. And I hold one of their hands and apparently her and i are close and i've seen her before in real life but i can't remember. And her foot starts to hurt her alot in her high heels and i thought about my prom(real life) that my dates foot was killing her like in the dream. But in the dream the girl i was holding hands with wasn't my prom date. And then we walk to what seems to be home and i can't really remember that part i remember i still wanted to go singing to certain houses but again i dont remember this part to well but something happened so we didn't go. And the whole time i never saw the two other girls faces only the one i was holding hands with. Thats about it. And if it means anything i think all the girls hair was black and the one i was with was wearing a black and white dress.
