Keep in mind that Sammy won't be able to move around much until his leg heals. You'll have to either hand feed him or put his food real close. Also, most importantly, keep him hydrated. He might not be able to reach a water bottle. Keep his sleepin clean, since he wont be able to get up and move to "do his business". Avoid fruits and fresh veggies at this early age - they cause diarrhea in very young rodents, which leads to dehydration. I'm not sure how big his teeth are and how well he chews - he might have trouble with larger chunks of kibble or rat chow. Maybe some high-fiber cereal (the less sugar the better). If he doesn't seem to be able to chew well, maybe oatmeal. Just a few suggestions... good luck!
